Which pattern fits your signs?
Twelve questions, one at a time. It weighs your answers against eight patterns and shows you what fits — and, more usefully, what doesn't quite.
This is an educational tool, not a diagnosis. It cannot examine you, and a result is a reading list, not a finding. If a symptom is new, severe, or worsening, see a clinician.

The printable version, when it is ready
A short document built from your own answers: the three patterns closest to them, the signs that separate those three, and the questions worth asking a practitioner. It is being written now, and every claim in it will carry its source — the same rule as the rest of this site.
One message, when the report is finished — that is the whole commitment. The address is used for that and nothing else: not sold, not passed on, and there is no list to unsubscribe from.
Link copied. It contains your answers — anyone with it can read them.
How it weighs answers
Each answer adds or subtracts a fixed amount for each pattern. There is no model, no prediction, and no hidden weighting — the numbers are published in the methodology.
What it can't do
It cannot see your tongue or feel your pulse, and it knows only what you type. It is a way to narrow what to read next, not a way to find out what is wrong with you.
Where your answers go
Nowhere, unless you ask. The scoring runs in your browser — no cookie, no analytics, no record on a server. Answers are encoded in the link itself, so a result can be shared by sharing the URL. If you ask for the printable version, we keep your address and which result you were looking at: nothing else, and only then.
